El evento Somos RAICEX se celebró los días 17 y 18 de diciembre de 2025 con el objetivo de poner el foco en la propia red de asociaciones de científicos y científicas españoles en el exterior. Durante estas jornadas se destacó la diversidad, el impacto y la capacidad de acción conjunta de RAICEX como una red consolidada y en constante crecimiento.
Somos RAICEX se concibió como un espacio de encuentro, reflexión y visibilización, en el que las distintas asociaciones compartieron experiencias, buenas prácticas y líneas de trabajo comunes. El intercambio permitió identificar sinergias, fortalecer la cooperación entre nodos y avanzar hacia una actuación más coordinada y estratégica.
El evento reforzó el sentimiento de pertenencia a una red global, así como el compromiso de las asociaciones con la colaboración, la representación del talento científico español en el exterior y su contribución activa al sistema español de ciencia, tecnología e innovación.
Estas jornadas pusieron de manifiesto el papel clave de RAICEX como interlocutor y motor de iniciativas colectivas, capaces de amplificar el impacto del talento científico español más allá de nuestras fronteras.
We are RAICEX
The We are RAICEX event took place on 17–18 December 2025, with the aim of placing the spotlight on the network itself: the associations of Spanish scientists and researchers abroad. The event highlighted the diversity, impact, and capacity for collective action of RAICEX as a well-established and continuously growing network.
We are RAICEX was conceived as a space for connection, reflection, and visibility, where the different associations shared experiences, best practices, and common lines of work. This exchange made it possible to identify synergies, strengthen cooperation among nodes, and move towards more coordinated and strategic action.
The event reinforced the sense of belonging to a global network, as well as the associations’ commitment to collaboration, the representation of Spanish scientific talent abroad, and their active contribution to Spain’s science, technology, and innovation system.
These two days underscored the key role of RAICEX as an interlocutor and a driver of collective initiatives capable of amplifying the impact of Spanish scientific talent beyond national borders.
