Nos complace anunciar un nuevo encuentro de nuestra serie “Jóvenes talentos, futuras estrellas de la ciencia”, una iniciativa de ACES destinada a dar visibilidad a investigadores e investigadoras en etapas tempranas de su carrera que ya están dejando huella en el ámbito científico.
El próximo jueves 16 de abril de 2026, Roberto de la Torre Martínez ofrecerá la conferencia titulada “Un viaje desde los canales iónicos hasta los circuitos cerebrales” en SciLifeLab (Sala Air & Fire), Tomtebodavägen 23, Solna.
En esta charla, el ponente nos guiará a través de un recorrido científico que conecta los mecanismos moleculares más fundamentales con la complejidad de los circuitos cerebrales, ofreciendo una visión integradora y actual de la investigación en neurociencia. Será una excelente oportunidad para conocer de cerca el trabajo de un joven investigador destacado, intercambiar ideas y generar nuevas conexiones dentro de nuestra comunidad.
Con esta serie, ACES reafirma su compromiso con la promoción del talento emergente, el fortalecimiento de la red de investigadores españoles en Suecia y la creación de espacios que fomenten el diálogo científico y la colaboración interdisciplinar.

Talk by Roberto de la Torre Martínez “A Journey from Ion Channels to Brain Circuits”
We are pleased to announce a new event in our “Young Talents, Future Stars of Science” series, an ACES initiative aimed at highlighting early-career researchers who are already making a strong impact within the scientific community.
On Thursday, April 16th, 2026, Roberto de la Torre Martínez will deliver a talk entitled “A Journey from Ion Channels to Brain Circuits” at SciLifeLab (Air & Fire Room), Tomtebodavägen 23, Solna.
In this lecture, he will guide us through a scientific journey that connects fundamental molecular mechanisms with the complexity of brain circuits, offering an integrative and up-to-date perspective on neuroscience research. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn firsthand about the work of a promising young researcher, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections within our community.
Through this series, ACES reaffirms its commitment to promoting emerging talent, strengthening the network of Spanish researchers in Sweden, and creating spaces that foster scientific dialogue and interdisciplinary collaboration.
