El pasado 13 de diciembre, Leire Alonso, tesorera de ACES, tuvo el honor de representar a la ACES en el acto de clausura del programa Explora Nobel, organizado por la Asociación de Investigadores Chilenos en Suecia (AIChis) en la Embajada de Chile en Suecia.
Como parte de este programa, tres estudiantes chilenos de educación media fueron elegidos para representar a Chile en la Semana Nobel en Estocolmo. Fue una jornada especial, llena de inspiración y aprendizaje, gracias a las historias compartidas por estos tres jóvenes chilenos apasionados por la ciencia: Francisca Ulloa, Michelle Manzanares y Yamil Niño de Guzmán.
Durante su estancia en Estocolmo, estos talentosos estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de sumergirse en el fascinante entorno que ofrece la Semana Nobel. Visitaron el Foro y el Museo Nobel, conocieron los laboratorios de investigación en Campus Solna, y exploraron las instalaciones de Scania, donde pudieron aprender de primera mano sobre los avances científicos y tecnológicos en Suecia.
Lo más hermoso de este encuentro fue escuchar sus experiencias. Francisca, Michelle y Yamil expresaron cuánto disfrutaron cada momento, destacando la calidez y hospitalidad que sintieron durante toda su visita. Su entusiasmo y pasión por la ciencia dejaron una huella profunda en todos los presentes.
Sus palabras y vivencias nos llenaron de esperanza y nos recordaron el inmenso potencial que tienen las nuevas generaciones para transformar el mundo. Desde ACES, nos sentimos muy orgullosos de haber sido parte de esta experiencia y esperamos volver a encontrarnos con ellos en tierras suecas en un futuro cercano.
Programas como Explora Nobel son un testimonio del poder de la colaboración internacional en la ciencia y el impacto que pueden tener en la vida de jóvenes investigadores. Agradecemos a AIChis por esta iniciativa y por seguir impulsando el intercambio cultural y científico entre países.
ACES Participates in the Closing Ceremony of Explora Nobel: From Chile to Sweden
On December 13, Leire Alonso, ACES’s treasurer, had the honour of representing ACES at the closing ceremony of the Explora Nobel program. The event, organized by the Association of Chilean Researchers in Sweden (AIChis), took place at the Chilean Embassy in Sweden.
As part of this program, three Chilean high school students were selected to represent Chile during Nobel Week in Stockholm. It was a special day, filled with inspiration and learning, thanks to the stories shared by these three young Chilean science enthusiasts: Francisca Ulloa, Michelle Manzanares, and Yamil Niño de Guzmán.
During their time in Stockholm, these talented students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating environment of Nobel Week. They visited the Nobel Forum and Museum, explored research laboratories at Campus Solna, and toured the facilities at Scania, where they learned firsthand about the scientific and technological advances taking place in Sweden.
The most beautiful part of this gathering was hearing about their experiences. Francisca, Michelle, and Yamil shared how much they enjoyed every moment, highlighting the warmth and hospitality they felt throughout their visit. Their enthusiasm and passion for science left a lasting impression on everyone present.
Their stories and experiences filled us with hope and reminded us of the immense potential that the younger generations hold to transform the world. At ACES, we are incredibly proud to have been part of this experience and look forward to seeing them again in Sweden in the near future.
